The Human Resources and Academic Management area (AGRHA) of the Oeiras Campus is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of administrative and academic processes, providing essential support to students, faculty, and staff.

Academic Management

The Academic Management is the service responsible for monitoring and supporting the entire academic career of Bachelor’s (1st Cycle) and Master’s (2nd Cycle) students, from admission to conclusion of the course and certification.

This service is responsible for receiving, organising and managing the individual processes of students on different 1st and 2nd Cycle courses. It also provides information and deals with all matters related to enrolment, registration, tuition fees, academic records and certification.

Academic Management ensures the correct management of all students’ academic processes, from enrolment to completion of studies and certification, ensuring strict compliance with internal rules and regulations, as well as with the legislation applicable to Higher Education, in close collaboration with the School’s management bodies.

Human Resources

The Human Resources Department is responsible for managing all processes and procedures relating to staff at Instituto Superior Técnico – Oeiras Campus. It is also the responsibility of Human Resources to provide a high-quality, ethical and professional service within its areas of competence and to meet the requirements of users and other stakeholders.

The Human Resources Department at the Oeiras Campus is responsible for:

  • Providing support and advice to selection panels and in mobility procedures involving staff at the Oeiras Campus;
  • Ensuring attendance monitoring;
  • Organising processes relating to the opening, applications, renewals and extensions of research grants;
  • Draw up protocols aimed at Técnico employees with the aim of providing access to exclusive benefits with partner companies, both in the areas of health and sport, and in the areas of education and culture, amongst other advantages extending to the whole household;
  • Promote work-life balance and organisational well-being practices.
