Global Game Jam 2019
Similar to what happened in previous years, this year Instituto Superior Técnico will once again join other institutions in Lisbon to organize another edition of Global Game Jam (GGJ).
GGJ is an event where participants from around the world have 48 hours to develop a game about a theme revealed on the first day of the event.
More information about the event on the official website: https://globalgamejam.org
The partnership with other venues, coordinated by the Ludoteca, promotes exchanges between the various jam sites and offers participants the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team with a wide range of skills: visual arts (2D and 3D), programming (2D and 3D), audio (sound effects and music), among others.
The event at Instituto Superior Técnico is organized by the Games Laboratory with the collaboration of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and has several sponsorships this year. More information on the Facebook page.
Registration through the form: https://aludoteca.org/ggj (with indication of preference at Taguspark, if intended). Closer to the date of the event, notification will be sent to all participants with information about the venue in which they were placed.
The event will take place between January 25th and 27th at the Taguspark campus, at rooms 0-32, 0-34, 0-71, 0-73, 0-75 and A5. A one-way shuttle will be available on the 25th and another on the 27th, to facilitate the participation of those who are closest to the Alameda campus.
