Experimenta-te 2025: Experiment, Learn and Present!
If you’re between 13 and 18 years old, a resident and/or a student in the municipality of Oeiras, don’t miss the opportunity to take part in the 7th edition of the ‘Experimenta-te’ project!
On January 21, 2025, at 2pm, registration opens.
This project offers the chance to discover interests and develop skills in various areas:
Game Design and Development
Cartooning (2D animation)
Theater
Creation and Sewing
Music (Band)
Guitar Building
Cookery
Photography
Kickboxing
As well as exploring the activities individually, this edition brings collaborative projects between groups, in which there will be the opportunity to take part in joint sessions, uniting different training groups. The project thus seeks to promote personal and social skills in addition to technical competencies, encouraging active, conscious and creative youth participation in the community.
How does it work?
Training dates: Activities take place in the mornings or afternoons, on weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
Final event: The end of the project will be celebrated with a showcase of collaborative activities and projects, in a unique event, which will take place on May 18, 2025, at Largo 5 de Outubro, in Oeiras.

Opening: The registration links for each activity will be available on this page from January 21, 2025, at 2pm.
Price: Registration for each of the ‘Experimenta-te’ training activities is €10 (ten euros).

Game Design and Development
Calendar and program content
The Game Design and Development activity offers a practical and collaborative experience that challenges participants to create, as a group, a playable prototype from scratch, following a methodology inspired by the practices of the Instituto Superior Técnico. In this edition, the activity fosters synergies with Kickboxing and Cartooning (2D Animation), allowing the narratives and mechanics of the games to be enriched by values of citizenship, sports ethics and visual storytelling.
